Course Overview:
This course is for Rare Voices Australia Partner groups/organisations that work with people living with rare diseases from priority populations. The course covers the development of the collections of rare disease resources for priority populations, including ‘Rare Disease Resources for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community’; ‘Rare Disease Resources for the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Community’; and the ‘Rare Disease Resources for the Regional, Rural, and Remote Community’ web pages.
About This Course
The course explores the Australian Government’s National Strategic Action Plan for Rare Diseases and priority populations, including the collaboration undertaken with stakeholders when developing the collections. It also covers health literacy and accessibility factors; lessons learned throughout the process; and how you can assist with this collection.
